2006 Kia Spectra EX Trouble?

I own a 2006 Kia Spectra EX and it has always ran great but now I have noticed a problem with my blinkers[turn signals]. When I engage the one on the right, it operates just as it always have, a slow steady clicking/flash to alert other drivers. Now the left one, that's another story. It has a fast rhythm and although the bulbs have been checked and changed the problem still persists and drives me a bit nuts. Outside of the rapid blink on the left side, everything else is fine. Anyone know why its doing this and how to make it stop? Is it a grounding problem, is there a code that needs clearing, any ideas or suggestions?

P.S. Not sure if this is relevant or not but the same side light bulb blew for my license plate and, although we replaced it, it is blown out again...not immediately but shortly thereafter.2006 Kia Spectra EX Trouble?Last time this happen to me, all I did was change the bulb and the problem went away - that particular %26quot;sympton%26quot; you're experiencing is usually indicitive of a bulb thats about to burn out. Apparently you already tried that solution but with no luck. I'd personally would probably get a hold of a mechanic and inquire with them - on a side note, when replacing light bulbs on cars, be sure not to touch the bulb, the oil on our skin can do some damage to the bulb and in turn, decrease its life span.
