To those who think saab sucks please tell me your stories and tell me why your saab sucks?

My saab has driven me towards insanity. if my car had feelings and emotions than i would punch the **** out of it and kick it to death. my story about my saab starts off lkke this. it was the middle of 1993 when my father decided to buy a new car. we went to a honda dealership and we were ignored just cos we look poor in our baggy jumpers and holed jeans. so we went to the saab dealership and the service there was great and we then bought ourselves a nice new 1994 900s. wow how i loved this car. roomy interior and all and much better than ou bummy old ford. up until a few years later we had chronicles upon chronicles of breakdowns, bad engine oil, colant was buggered, engine slightly damaged by my irresponsible older bro, and the damn battery dies. it is now in the year 2009, car is about 15 years old, car has been left in the garage for a long while even though its been out on the road a few times. i am now 19, i need a car. so i decided to buy this saab from my father and get my licence. we then called in someone to jumpstart the car, the alarm went off, woke up the neighbourhood, made my dog crazy. the car after beng jumpstarted runs like an angel until we went to a petrol staion and put some fuel in only to breakdown at the petrol station. we had a fight with the workers because apparently our car was holding up the fuel tanker even though it never came. we ended up buying a new battery which put a strain on my account. then the indicator bulb blew itself out. so i lost even more money just to get it serviced. finally after the car being serviced i finally got to have a go with this car for the first time. i stalled and stalled again until i got used to driving manual. so now i decided to go for my driving test. i failed the first time because i didnt indicate leaving the roundabout even though i was going straight in the roundabout. i went again then i failed at the very end because i went a tiny bit over the speed limit. so i decided to be optimistic for my third attempt. on my way to the driving test i said nothing will stop me now and then all of a ******* sudden the car wouldnt get into gear. we kpt trying and trying but it was no use unless we grinded gears. we had the hazard lights on everyone nearby just stared at us, kids were looking at my car and myslef as if we are an exhibition because the car is indicating in a different way since the bloody car broke down. we called in someone to tow our car and he said th clutch cable is stretched. so we decided to get a new clutch cable. thanks to taxes and evil stingy mechanics it costed me a fortune to get a new cable fitted into the car. then it only gets worse. the truth behind the car not getting into gear is because the ******* clutch itself is worn out. the pressure plate has collapsed and therefore the clutch wont move and change gears. i have no money and its now gonna cost me a bloody fortune. i didnt get my licence for the test because you have to supply your own car for the test and i wanted to do my test in a manual vehicle but everyone i know has an automatic so i didnt get my licence and my car is useless. SAAB sucks, its ruined my life, my life sucks because i cannot go anywhere without my car and licence and its because saab sucks.To those who think saab sucks please tell me your stories and tell me why your saab sucks?You may not get to hear this story as some one keeps erasing me from SAAB but here goes.

Sweet Laurane wanted a new (to her ) car and found this 84 -900 Saab. $1500. USD- any way after the test ride from hell 1) the pass window went 1/2 way up and stopped 2) the inst went nuts and ran all over the place 3) the wipers stopped 1/2 way up the glass. ANYWAY; She offered $750 against my advise. And a week later we owned it for $500.

%26quot;You can fix it Honey!!%26quot;

Ya right. Well 3 years of repairs from the turbo, to the air filter and fuel pump and the window winder then the transmission.

I got a new girl friend.To those who think saab sucks please tell me your stories and tell me why your saab sucks?So, years after you bought the car you started having a few issues with breakdowns and bad oil/coolant, then your brother damaged the engine and the battery died.

Then you let it sit for a few years (probably without draining the fuel or disconnecting the battery) and take it out after a jump-start thinking that the battery will still hold a charge.

Then you learn to drive a manual transmission on the car and after stalling it numerous times until you get the hang of it, you think it's the car's fault you wore out your clutch cable and plate?

It sounds to me like that poor Saab endured a lifetime of hell from a family that has no clue how to care for or operate a motor vehicle. If you want to blame someone, blame your father. It sounds like he has no clue how to properly service a motor vehicle and has passed on his ignorance to you.

You probably have pets that ran away.To those who think saab sucks please tell me your stories and tell me why your saab sucks?So the company sucks because you are poor? Well that's not their problem. I would love a 9-3 Viggen.
