Infiniti G35 license plate bulb replacement?

Can someone tell me detailed instruction on how to change the license plate bulbs on an 04 g35 coupe. I looked in the owners manual and it doesnt give you much instructions.. i just uncliped the lights and now there just hanging down. How do i physically take out the bulb and replace it?? If you can't simply pull the bulb out of the socket, then try rotating it counterclockwise first to pull it out.
